TIM HOLTZ INSPIRED CHALLENGES
FOR HIM
Perfect challeng blog for all things tim holtz. This is my first entry.
JAILBIRD TAG
Created on a large size manila tag using DISTRESS STAINS in BROKEN CHINA & FRAYED BURLAP. I wanted it to be blue and brown, for some reason my bottle of Frayed Burlap has turned green? I used the WRINKLE FREE DISTRESS TECHNIQUE.
the tag was then embossed with a stop watch embossing folder, telling us the are "doing time"
The picture is a mug shot from the 1920's I love these genuine prison photos. photography we would be proud of today.
The photo was screwed up, scratched and tinted with BRUSHED CORDUROY DISTRESS INK. then added to the tag with 3D foam.
Die cut letter were added using a TIM HOLTZ ALPHABET DIE, then added to the MELT POT. A little jailbird charm was added

Your jailbird tag is very very cool! It really popped out at me when I was looking at our entries. :) Love the pocket watches in the background and the "wanted" gentlemen. Love the colors and the design! Thanks for joining our "all about him" challenge at A Vintage Journey. <3 Candy
