Whats On Your Workdesk 290
This is a weekly desk hop around all the world. Want to look at other peoples work and products......ask advice? This is the hop to do it.
Now.....
On my workdesk today is my Documented Life Planner 2014. That's the book on the left. I am still writing in it, trying to finish a few pages off that didn't get done for all sorts of reasons. I love this book, it has helped me control life a little better
It is a Moleskine planner and as well as being a diary its the story of my life for 2014. What a turbulent year it has been full of wrong choices.
EVERY LIFE HAS A STORY
I discovered this scheme this time last year and decided to join, A cracking combination, organisation with creativity and thoughts. I wrote myself TO DO lists to try and stop myself putting things of till next month. I moaned in it and congratulated myself in it. I also wrote and chastised myself for avoiding things.
A Series of weekly prompts gets the journaling going. I wonder what I will think when I look back in a years time?
Next year the Dylusions Creative Journal is the book of choice and I cant wait, mine is on order as I write. I am still going to incorporate a planner section to my pages for my To Do lists as it did help me stop avoiding things, when I went back the week after to see what I had accomplished.....and it was nothing!
On the other side of my desk is my current arty journal I do a page in occasionally. As I will be doing 1 a week next year I thought I would get into the swing of it again. I wanted a soft winter landscape, with happy snowmen. I actually ended up making the most DEMONIC looking snowmen I have ever seen!!! Really not what I envisioned at all.
Things don't always go to plan with this crafting lark do they?
Tempted to rip it out, but hey now, learn from the failures
I wish you all the crafting goodies you desire on Xmas Day, Even if you have bought them yourself and hid them!

Hi Jill, A Happy Christmas to you and yours! Yes, there are a few crafty goodies lurking around, and a few still in the postal system, lol. I'm totally no good at things like the DLP- I just cannot for the life of me keep to it. Had a go with one this year, think I lasted about 3 weeks! Happy Christmas Eve WOYWW, Love from us both, Shaz #11 xxxx

I admire you for writing a planner, because in my eyes it needs a lot of discipline. Your blog was very interesting to read and makes me think it over.
Thank you for sharing.
Merry Christmas for you and yours.

Hi Jill - that sounds just the perfect thing to keep me on the straight and narrow! I hope you've really enjoyed your Christmas. Hugs, Chris # 10
I like the idea of DPL and I have been playing some of their videos to see what it's all about.
Your demonic snowmen are hilarious!
Well done though in persistingly doing your weekly planner. I wouldn't have the discipline to do that....
Belated Happy Christmas,
