Compendium of Curiosites 3  Challenge 6

The technique is from TIM HOLTZ new book, Compendium of Curiosities 3
This fortnights challenge is from Pg37 of the book
BURLAP PANEL
This is such a big one.
This is a large Burlap at 12" square, I set myself a real challenge and did not really know what to fill such a huge space with. had to keep staring at if for some long hours wondering what to put in it.

I started off with some stencilng with texture paste and took it from there
Then what to do with that massive space in the middle.  I matted and layered some Crafty Individuals  images and surrounded them with GARDEN GREENS & TATTERED FLORALS die cuts, just to fill up some space.

And this is the end result.

Beautiful canvas, Jill! Quite a project to undertake at that size, however, you nailed it! Love the ancestry theme and all the beautiful details!

Gorgeous color and I like the way your butterflies are fluttering all different directions. Give the piece a lot of interest!
