ONE EYED WONDER No1

Country View Challenges "Stencil it"

That's Crafty Challenge  "Mask & Stencil

Simon Says Challenge  "Face"

Anything But a Card "Anything goes"
Over at the above blogs the challenge is one of my favourite tools,  mask and stencils.  I can highly recommend the price and service of both companies for crafting goodies.
Country View blog also is a great teaching resource too, with some very interesting articles/desingers
Here is what I came up with, not sure what to call this one eyed wonder.  She is inspired by Traci Bautista, stumbled across her work and loved it, never having done anything like this before I gave it ago and here she is.......

There is so much stuff on here, I always mean to take progress photos then launch straight in and forget. . . . .One early photo can be seen on woywdw post 9/7/14  Here is some of the stuff I  used.

Windsor & Newton Galleria Acrylic Pad..Canvas texture  14"x10"
This is what she is painted onto, tuff paper and whitstands a lot of paint/liquid without waving, because it is designed to take impasto acrylic work. Consequently it is not smooth and very heavy on the nibs of any pens you use.

FLOWER FRENZY  12 x 12 stencil
FRESCO PAINTS
ORCHID
ZESTY ZING
SOUTH PACIFIC
BLACK PROMARKER
RANGER WHITE PEN
SILK ART PAINTS
STICKLES GLITTER GLUE
PINFLAIR DIAMOND GLAZE
BASICALLY ANY PEN I COULD FIND

I will say this surface trashes promarker nibs, I have ruined my only black one.  In future I would not use them again but find a oil based paint marker.  Sharpie is the only one I can find

This is absolutely stunning! The woman's face is truly beautiful and I love the bright color palette you used. I thought it was brilliant how you made her eyelashes look extended with the black flourishes! This is both sophisticated and whimsical and I could stare at it for hours! You have an amazing artistic style and it was truly a joy to see this extraordinary creation. Thank you for sharing it with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
