WOYWDW

Its time for another weekly nosey at some worldwide crafty blogs.  Click the link above to see what other crafters are creating.....this week
A lot of stuff on here.  I have had a week when I don't know what to make.  I have found that the cues from Challenge blogs have been big prods.  But this week nothing as worked. When this happens I make myself paint some of the horses,, I have a lot that need colour
These two here are having the white markings added.   This is the worst part, I hate it with a passion.  The finish has to be totally flat, with no brush strokes showing for the model horse market and this is so hard to do.
Finding just the right brush, just the right white paint has eluded me.
Also in the picture is a craftascene page.. I could turn these out all day, I love making them. I have a 8x8 scrapbook and I store them in there.  Not quite journal pages as I don't write on them.  Not sure what to call them.  My trusty specs are in the scene, QVC specials, I am getting to the point in life now where I need them on a chain round my neck.
Close up of the horses.  The big one at the back he is traditional scale artist resin made in limited numbers, generally by American artists.  He is a quarterhorse and his name is Bogey!
The small one is a stablemate made by breyer and he is plastic and widely available.

And, I did stick at the card from last week!  Have a happy week with your crafting and all else you do xx

It's called Butterfly Mind Syndrome and I have it as well! I've got loads to be getting on with and can't settle to one particular thing....sigh.
I love your horses, you've painted them so accurately. Are they for you to keep or do you sell them?
Hugs, LLJ 12 xx

Hi Jill. thanks for visiting. I am amazed at your horses and how detailed you have to be in the painting. What a labour of love. Have a lovely week.

Hi Jill, I suppose I'm no judge but I do love your horses and can find nothing wrong with the white markings - they look perfect to me. Your finished card is beautiful. Wishing you a great week. Elizabeth x #63

I think when you feel like your ideas have gone on holiday it's best to do something entirely different for a while and give the brain a rest then it will soon come home again.
Happy crafting and have a good week, Angela x #44

I'm a fan of just taking a break and doing something else when I can't get going on something I've been working on. I think that's the beauty of being creative, there are many outlets for our expressions! Thanks for visiting!

I like your cards, but I am mostly fascinated by your Bogey horse. He is striking. Blessings!
